Renting in Marrakech for six people
Dar Djinou sleeps six across three bedrooms, each with a queen bed and its own shower room. The whole house goes to one group: nobody else sleeps here, and the garden and pool belong to you. A travel cot is available on request.

Three shower rooms, and that is the detail that counts
On a group rental, the mood is not set by the number of beds. It is set by the number of taps. Six people sharing one bathroom means ninety minutes of staggered mornings and a tension that builds by day three.
Here each bedroom has its own. Nobody waits, nobody negotiates a turn, nobody crosses the house in a towel. The kind of thing you only notice when it is missing.
The three bedrooms are equivalent
Group rentals usually disappoint on one point: the good room and the two small ones. Here all three have the same queen bed, the same shower room, the same air conditioning. They differ by the colour of the arch painted above the bed, green, blue or terracotta, not by comfort.
In practice there is no conversation to have on arrival about who takes what. One review from September 2025 says the first bedroom appealed less than the rest: that is the only comment of its kind out of 64.
The per person maths
We print no prices on this site, because they move with the dates and a wrong figure helps nobody. The reasoning is still worth setting out.
A whole house for six divides by six. Three equivalent rooms in a medina riad do not: they are charged by the room, and breakfast by the head. From four guests the gap is clear. At six it becomes the main reason to choose a house.
Then there is the kitchen. With a bread oven, a greengrocer and a butcher on foot, many groups eat in most of the time. Over a week for six, that line weighs more than the nightly rate.
Which groups
- Two or three couples. Three closed bedrooms, three shower rooms, one shared sitting room. The most common set-up in our reviews.
- A family of four to six. A pool 1.2 m deep throughout and an enclosed garden change the shape of a trip with children.
- Two families travelling together. Each family gets a room and a shower, everyone meets at the table.
- A group of friends. Several reviews come from groups of three or four.
What does not work: more than six. The limit is firm, there are three beds.
Questions we get asked
Can we be seven or eight?
No. Capacity is six, in three queen beds. A travel cot for a baby can be added on request.
Are the three bedrooms equivalent?
Yes. Same queen bed, same private shower room, same air conditioning. They differ by colour, not by comfort.
Is there a cot?
A travel cot is available on request. Flag it before arrival.
How many parking spaces?
One free carport on site, plus free street parking in the village. One guest put it simply: I parked the car in front of the door.
Can we hold a birthday or a party?
The house sits in a lived-in village, not an isolated estate. Quiet stays are the norm and the neighbours are close. Ask the host before booking rather than improvising on arrival.
