What we wish we had read before coming. Figures are dated and sourced, and where we do not know, we say so.
We are not a tourist board. This guide exists first for the people sleeping in our house, ten kilometres out, who have concrete questions: how long to the medina, when the pool becomes swimmable, how much to withdraw at a cash machine, whether children need a passport.
Every figure carries its date and its source. Plenty of guides online still quote monument prices from before 2024, or still say Morocco changes its clocks. Where we lack a figure, we would rather write that than invent one.
